- Established in 1955, our club is chartered with the AMA for flying fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. Our membership consistently hovers around 160 members (plus or minus) of all ages. We have one flying location with a 350 foot runway nestled in the middle of a cornfield off Bird River Beach Road. We are always looking for a second field to use. Anyone with any suggestions, please contact one of our Club Officers.
