We are an international organization, started in 2008 in Ireland. Our first project is in a remote part of the Atlas mountains in Morocco. There we are building a school/community center which will also house the internet access.
We are already showing how having access to modern communications can make a big difference to people living in remote areas by helping to bring in a permaculture project, cleaning and securing contaminated wells, installing hygienic dry toilet systems, solar cookers and solar water sterilization. All this could be done by the people themselves using the equipment we used to make the connections for them, and the above are just examples to show them how to do it.
