About Us
Swamp Gas Visits the USA was created by Bob Cavey and Sean Callahan with the assistance of their wives Karen (voices and documentation), and Kathy (proofing and product testing) in 1989. Swamp Gas was published by Darryl Peck's Inline Design in 1990. Swamp Gas won the MacUser Editors's Choice Award for Educational Software in 1991 (Darryl kept the trophy... #@**#!).
Swamp Gas Visits Europe was created the following year and they were joined by Scott McSpadden who created the Windows conversions. In 1994 Darryl sold Inline Design to Focus Enhancements. After suffering with their awful management for a year. Bob and Sean cancelled the contract and took their product back.
Sean went on to work for Microsoft while Bob and Scott continued on. Together they formed the Swamp Gas Development Team which maintains the Swamp Gas software and develops other educational software such as Sparky's ABCs.
