- Alchemy Armory is owned and operated by Dale Roberts, known in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) as Dale Wyn of Anglesey. Dale has been making steel armor for the SCA and movies since 1991, and saw a need for a light-weight, durable and inexpensive alternative. Dale's suits have won several awards in the past, including "Best in Show" at the 1998 CANvention, and "Best Artizan" at the 1999 Ad Astra. As well, Dale's work can be seen in the documentary "Prince and the Grail", and the TV series "Tales from the Neverending Story ". At Alchemy Armory, we believe when you see our armor in battle, you will agree that it is the best in its field.
