- Backwards Company strives to rigorously combat the rumor that theatre is dying. As a unified and cohesive ensemble of artists, we are able to defy and reinterpret today’s theatre mantras while also inventing new techniques of our own. In these efforts we hope to present meaningful, driven work of immediate relevance as proof that theatre is not in fact dying, but evolving into a new and more communal art form.
