Description

Michael was born and raised in Osakis, on Minnesota’s Douglas-Todd County border. He graduated from High School in Osakis, and earned his Pharmacy Degree from the North Dakota State University College of Pharmacy in Fargo, ND. Other than living out of state for a few years starting his career, Michael has lived and worked exclusively in the Seventh Congressional District.

He is blessed to be married to his dear sweet wife, Inga. Michael has one son, Gabe; and Inga has one daughter, Varya. Gabe and his wife, Christy, have given them four wonderful grandchildren comprising three active boys and one special girl.

Michael is currently the Pharmacy Manager at Long Prairie Memorial Hospital and Home, part of the CentraCare Health System. He has enjoyed working in this capacity at Long Prairie since 1987. For almost 30 years now, he has devoted himself to helping the acutely sick, and cherishes the opportunity to both help and interact with his patients. Now, he seeks to continue to help and interact with the people of the Seventh District.
