Description
Having identified some big gaps in the support of carers in Birmingham BCA started to develop services and activities taking over the running of carers week in 2000, this is now run as a consortium of local stakeholders.
In October 2003 Birmingham Carers Association transferred all its services to a company set-up for the purpose, Birmingham Carers Support Services (BCSS) which uses the trading name of Birmingham Carers.
Birmingham Carers holds various carers Forums across the city.These Forums may be targeted at specific groups or carers generally or service specific or city-wide.
