Bolton County A.F.C. (BCAFC), formally known as Bolton County Grammar School Old Boys was established in 1948, but has its origins in the 1920's, when it fell into abeyance during the Second World War. The club was renamed in 1982 when Bolton County Grammar School ceased to exist. To attain this award, the club has demonstrated that it adheres to the Football Associations strict guidelines, on both child protection and the development of young footballers.
