Books4Exchange.com was launched in August 1999. A collaborative project between EDge Interactive and the Science Undergraduate Society of McGill University, the site is designed to help you buy and sell your textbooks. Indeed, over the last five years, the site has helped over 10,000 students.
And yet with more than a million full- and part-time university and college students in Canada and tens times that number in the US, we feel like we have only scratched the surface. Sadly, many students either pay exorbitant rates to sell their books, or the books simply go unsold. Our vision is that every student should at least have the option to sell their books.
With this goal in mind we sat down with Places4Students.com. Places has quickly become the online leader in providing university and colleges with the highest quality off-campus housing service. Working together we hope to provide a valuable service with new features.
