- Breeding come to us as a hobby and we take full responsibility of breeding high quality standard, healthy and well socialized Brits for you and your family. We live in one of the suburbs of Chicago called Mount Prospect . It is a small friendly neighborhood of Chicago North West suburbs area. Anyone who is familiar with the area would consider us located 10 minutes drive from O'Hare international airport. Since our childhood we were in love with animals particularly with cats. Decision to breed British shorthairs came to us 4 years ago. We did not do any research. Once you see a Brit—it is hard to forget a round smiling face with a big round check and burning eyes. For someone who is not very familiar with the looks and personality we summarized the biggest advantages of getting a Brit with respect to other breeds: They are big and we like big cats. Extremely friendly. Shed very little. Easy to train. Laid back, do not jump or run. Will treat you like your dog would do. Very rare breed in US, different color varieties. Kid-friendly. Great companions.
