- is a founding member of Brotherhood Instructors, LLC. Curt joined the Dwight Fire Protection District (Dwight, IL) as a volunteer in 1996. He was promoted to Lieutenant taking on the responsibilities of training for the department. In 2005, Curt was hired by the Morris Fire Protection District (Morris, IL) as a paid part-time firefighter where he works currently. Curt instructs at various local fire academies and fire departments. He is a regular contributor to several online training forums including Firehouse.com and the IACOJ. Curt co-taught the “Fire Drills & Photos” lecture with his brother Nate at FDIC 2007.
