Description
In creating this Dojo, it was my intention to get together with a few friends who share my love for Budo Taijutsu, and train in an environment with no curriculum. Just a few practitioners practicing to better their understanding of taijutsu, and perhaps capture the feelings behind Soke Masaaki Hatsumi's art.
We train in the fundamentals of taijutsu movement. Basic stretching, rolling and breakfalls, kihon happo, sanshin no kata and basic self-defense applications.
Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu is not a sports-oriented art, but a traditional martial art that has a unique approach to movement and combative responses, which has survived warring times in Japan til the present day.
