- The Center for Stuttering Therapy (CFST) is devoted to the prevention, evaluation, and treatment of stuttering. It was founded in 1993 by Mark Allen, Ph.D. CCC-SLP. Dr. Allen is recognized as a Fluency Specialist by the American Speech-Language Association’s (ASHA) Special Commission on Fluency Disorders. His own experience with stuttering led him to create this organization that specializes in working with people who stutter.
