, PA where my life revolved around animals. My parents had a farm in the country with sheep (when I was very little), horses and, our household pets: Boswell, the Basset Hound; Daisy (the lucky dog that followed Dad and Boswell home one day); Muggings, the cat; and Corie, a Border Collie mix who is still living with my parents today.
Growing up, I had my own ponies and horses and rode daily. I was active in 4-H and Pony Club and competed in our local Hunter Circuit. Throughout my life, I worked with a professional horseback riding instructor and horse trainer. During high school and summers home from college, I spent practically everyday at her house riding or going to horse shows with my horse Final Flash. While attending the
