The Central Valley Higher Education Consortium was established by the presidents and chancellors of our area’s colleges and universities to help build a healthy future for the Central Valley. By working together, our higher education institutions can make a positive impact on the educational achievement of our region, and can help improve the quality of life in this important and rapidly growing part of California.

Formed in March, 2000, the Central Valley Higher Education Consortium is made up of accredited, non-profit public and private colleges and universities in the Central Valley from Bakersfield to Stockton. Located on the campus of California State University, Fresno, the Central Valley Higher Education Consortium has received funding The James Irvine Foundation, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Northwest Education Loan Association/USA Funds.
