Community Drug, an independent provider of pharmaceutical products and services, has been located in the Greenfield-Squirrel Hill area of Pittsburgh, PA for almost 85 years.
David Hairhoger, R.Ph., owner and Chief Pharmacist of Community Drug, along with his staff of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and store employees continue to provide traditional pharmaceutical care to their many patients.
However, in 1996, Mr. Hairhoger elected to return to the basic fundamentals and origins of pharmacy and established an additional service designed to meet the specialized medication needs of health professionals and their patients. That service evolved into the development of an on-site drug compounding laboratory.
