Vertical Solutions (VSI) announced that Mercury Interactive Corporation has acquired ownership of VSI's IT Service Management product, PowerHelp IT and related core technology, as well as research and development and support personnel and facilities from VSI partner company Tefensoft, Inc. for an aggregate purchase price of $18.5 million.
Oracle and Open Text announced that Open Text will offer content management solutions on the Oracle Content Database infrastructure software. This partnership extends Open Text's recently launched enterprise solutions framework and builds on the decade long database integration that Open Text has had with Oracle.
