About two weekends ago (Aug 8-9) I went on a small kayaking trip with my Dad, brother and a bunch of guys we know. We were up outside of Lake Luzerne, right on the Hudson. After I got up there on Saturday, we all grabbed our kayaks, piled into a few cars and headed up river from the camp site. About 5-7 miles up, we stopped, threw the kayaks in the water (threw so coolers of beer into the kayaks) and headed back down river.
