Constructed of indigenous stone, cedar, oak and Douglas fir, it is the finest representation of Greene&Greene-style Arts&Crafts architecture in the county and perhaps in all of northern Wisconsin. Master carpenters, stone masons, cabinet makers, tilers and other skilled craftsmen labored for over a year to complete the house.
