The Cal State East Bay Small Business Development Center (SBDC), a new partnership between Cal State East Bay, the Northern California Small Business Development Center Network and the U. S. Small Business Administration, offers classes, consulting services and business planning resources for small businesses throughout Alameda County. We are focused on developing and implementing programs and services that support small business growth and sustainable economic development.
Our classes offer entrepreneurs and business leaders a way to learn and implement new strategies, skills and ideas across varied business disciplines. Taught by experienced faculty, including Cal State East Bay professors and industry experts, our classes are tailored to fit entrepreneurs in any stage of the business development process.
Cal State East Bay SBDC consultants, many of whom are Cal State East Bay faculty or teams of MBA candidates, offer both industry and functional expertise. While our consultants specialize in critiquing business plans, financial projections, market research, marketing plans and business strategy, they are selected because of their knowledge and creativity to assist with a wide array of business issues.
