Organic Meat and Grass-Fed Livestock Farm
We are a small family organic meat and grass-fed farm that is dedicated to raising happy, healthy animals in a natural way that supports our environment. We are a close knit family of five that enjoys spending time together, Whether it be tending to the new babies on the farm, or fishing in our pond, riding our horses, or taking long walks through our beautiful fields and woodlands. One of our favorite hikes takes us along Cripplebush creek to the 40’ waterfall that is the southern most border of our lands.
The Animals
Here at Elysian Fields Farm it’s really all about the animals. They are wonderfully happy and carefree. They have large pastures and comfortable shelters. In Spring, Summer, and Fall they are rotationally grazed in lush, green meadows. They play and bathe in the glorious sunlight. In winter, they are brought in to the barnyard, where
they are better protected from strong, harsh winds and driving snow. They are fed free choice quality hay from our own hayfields, and are only supplemented with certified organic grains from a local farmer. They are never given antibiotics, hormones, or exposed to pesticides or any other chemical or unnatural substances. They are allowed to live exactly as nature intended. They are stress-free, well loved and cared for, and it shows!
