Ari Armstrong founded the Colorado Freedom Report in November, 1998. An independent review of politics and culture, the Report is also known as FreeColorado.com or "COFREE." The weekly Report provides original news and views from a perspective of free markets and individual rights, covering tax policy, the right of self-defense, education, the modern prohibition of drugs, and numerous other matters. Armstrong, who continues as publisher and editor of the Report, studied economics and philosophy at Pepperdine University, graduating with a B.A. in 1994. His articles have also appeared in Colorado daily newspapers, Boulder Weekly, Liberty, and elsewhere.
