Gobi manufacture advanced touchscreen kiosks for museums, cultural institutions, exhibitions, corporate and retail clients. Gobi information systems are designed to provide secure touchscreen computer access in high traffic public access environments. There are no external controls of any kind so that software performs exactly as it is designed 24/7. The systems are powerful yet fanless and are therefore completely silent in operation. The kiosks are manufactured in high quality anodized aluminum and are vandal resistant. The 17' widescreen touchscreen is daylight readable and the systems consume around 50W - i.e. less than a standard lightbulb, thus being environmentally friendly to operate. The aesthetically pleasing design is elegant yet durable and the screen can be easily angled by the user to suit. The systems are fully DDA compliant and there are various options available from the manufacturers such as ruggedized headphones and an internal Induction Loop amplifier.
