Uniroyal Pharmaceuticals Ltd. has successfully set up a Pharmaceutical Formulation unit as per W.H.O.- GMP standards at Dera Bassi Industrial Belt (15 Kms. from Chandigarh and 225 Kms. from New Delhi) in Punjab. The project has started its commercial production since July end, year 2000 with the State-of-the-Art Technology and Ultra Modern Machinery of Indigenous & Imported Makes. This unit has different sections including those of Tablets, Capsules (Ampicillin & Non-Ampicillin groups) Liquid Section and Dry Syrup Section with an in-house quality assurance department and also with the most modern Testing Facilities for Quality, Efficacy & Latest Packaging Technology. The main aim of the company is to provide Technologically Superior, Cost Effective Products of Consistent High Quality and to achieve fullest customer confidence and satisfaction.

The company's product range, which is meant for worldwide use, includes Antibiotics, Analgesics, Anti-Diarrheas, Anti-Amoebae, Anti-Inflammatory and Anti-Pyretic, Nutrition & Metabolism, Muscle Relaxants, Anti-Fungal, Acid related disorder drugs in the first phase of its project implementation. The specialized range of products would be Cardiovascular, Psychotropic, Anti-Asthmatic and Anti Diabetic drugs. To market our products we have two marketing divisions - Generic Product Division and Ethical Product Division.

The future plans of the company are, to implement in the second phase of the project a World Class Injectable Section, Skin Ointments, Eye and Ear Drop sections. The third phase of expansion entails setting up of a Bulk Drug Unit by the company to enable us to have in-house specialty salts, which should be implemented in the year 2004-2005.
