Jennifer Sweeney studied speech and language at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, B.C. and speech-language pathology at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, graduating with a Master of Science degree in 1991. She completed a Clinical Fellowship the following year at Marshfield Clinic, a large tertiary care medical center in Wisconsin, before returning home to Vancouver.
