Joe Daley's professional hockey career included NHL action with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Buffalo Sabres, and the Detroit Red Wings. Originating from East Kildonan, Manitoba, the call to play for the Winnipeg Jets was a homecoming opportunity for Joe. Joe spent seven seasons with the Jets and was the league's second leading goalie during the 1975-76 season along the way to becoming the winningest goaltender in WHA history.
