Description
I'm a philosopher by training and temperament (a prof. at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI). I turned "seriously" to photography about 5 years ago as a way of exploring the world and myself, and simply having fun.
I'm fascinated with the way the camera allows one to focus on the beauty of ordinary things and to get a slightly different perspective on the world.
I'm somewhat drawn to more abstract work in which the beauty and meaning of the images lies within the work and not in how well it "represents" some external reality.
