After falling in love with dance music in 1994, Brett moved to Atlanta in '96 where he has been active in the local dance music community since. He is a graduate of Emory University, with a B.A. in Spanish. Under the moniker of DJ Numinous, Brett has been spinning around the Southeast and beyond for over five years. Currently Brett works at Satellite records where he is a music buyer. As Music Editor, he looks forward to pushing the Atlanta scene forward and expanding the diverse musical coverage of Lunar.
Sterling McGarvey started partying in late 1997 and never, in a cajillion years, expected to be doing what he is doing now. He prays that one day he will be able to get turntables so he can finally trainspot records properly, but collegiate-induced poverty continues to dash his hopes. In between his studies at Georgia State University, a part time job, the co-moderation of the Lunar forum alongside Lily Steenblik, a voracious ear for sounds, and the duties of being Associate Music Editor and Senior Writer, he miraculously manages to find time for sleep. Yeah, right.
