Description
I started Miles Ahead Instrument Repair Service nine years ago with the urging of my wife. Since then it has, with God's blessing, grown from a small shop in the basement of our home to a store and repair facility employing six people. We now have a strong professional clientele throughout a four-state area. We are located in Louisville, Kentucky.
We have an extensive database listing buyers and sellers of used professional instruments; with this information we are able to link people up from all over the country. We also buy and refurbish used instruments, making them play like new.
We are a dealer for new Miyazawa flutes. These are fine handmade instruments using the highest level of workmanship and materials. In the past couple of years, we have also added new Pearl flutes, Buffet clarinets, Keilwerth saxophones, and Besson and Getzen brass to our new instrument inventory.
