With her expertise as a published author, registered nurse, board-certified lactation consultant, and childbirth educator, Anne has helped to establish our comprehensive inventory of bras, breast pumps and accessories for maternity and breastfeeding. In 1994, she started a breast pump rental service, which quickly expanded to include the sales of a quality selection of breast pumps, replacement parts and products for breast milk storage. She offered new and expectant mothers a full line of fashionable maternity and nursing bras as well as personal fitting service. In 2001 came the publication of her first book, The Complete Idiot's Guide® to Breastfeeding, drawing on her years of client lactation consultation and classroom instruction. With translations available in Chinese and Spanish, her book has become our number one breast-seller!
With expertise in business management and information technology, we lured Bruce from his corporate position for an adventure in small business. His background includes a tour of duty in army aviation, as well as undergraduate studies in the life sciences. A decade of experience in the import/export business trade well qualified him to direct sales and operations for Mommies & Poppies. From packing and shipping breast pumps, nursing bras, replacement parts and accessories, to inventory and data management, we can count on him to exceed our demands!
