We came to the mountains in the early 90’s as practicing Physical Therapists. While we were "employed" we purchased nearly 15 acres of land in Otto, N.C. (see above right picture) and rented the building that houses Mountain Valley Center - East, our gift shop and classroom located on Georgia Highway, US441, 3 miles north of Dillard, GA. (see picture above left). In 1998 change happened. We left physical therapy and devoted ourselves full time to the store, land, and website. We built the Labyrinth Park in April of that year and launched the website in the Fall. Jill re-trained as a Certified Polarity Practitioner and keeps her hand in University Grants and Business Consulting using her Doctorate in Adult Education. Charlie devotes himself to the storefront and is now "chief" of shipping and handling!
We both are busy on the property, Mountain Valley Center - West ,½ mile away. Join us in walking our rock labyrinth, strolling along paths through the forest and stream, or just sitting by the ponds and watching the fish play.
