- Mountain View Farm began its services in 1972 as a greenhouse vegetable producer. Following the oil embargo which made propane unaffordable in this scenario, we moved to producing mass market bedding and blooming plants and herbs. These short term crops maximized our growing space and heating dollar. At this time we served the Mid-Atlantic grocery chain market from Delaware to North Carolina.
