- We are pleased to introduce to you our family's recipe for bringing out the best flavors in all your cooking. Our mother, Ena Meihaus, created "My House All Purpose Seasoning" over forty years ago. She was allergic to artificial flavorings and preservatives, and wanted to create a special blend to spice up fresh meats and vegetables. Using coarse salt, as it has no additives and delivers more flavor than regular table salt, along with various spices until she was satisfied with the taste. The final recipe consisted of coarse salt, enhanced with seven selected herbs and spices, which she named "My House All Purpose Seasoning.
