- In conjunction with Nativemasks.com and Tribal Spirit Gallery (part museum, part contemporary art of the Northwest Coast First Nations) proudly has on display the original 1960 memorial totem pole carved by Mungo Martin in memory of his son David Martin who drowned in 1959. At age 82, Mungo carved this last tribute to his son and died shortly after at the age of 83. We are dedicated to keeping the spirit of Mungo alive and have built a special exhibit in the gallery where the memorial pole now rests. On the contemporary side Tribal Spirit Gallery has masks, totems, murals and prints by noted First Nations artists and carvers.
