Michele's style of life counseling & coaching is a blending of exploration, education, encouragement, support, guidance, and accountability. The goal of gay life counseling & coaching is to create a forward moving momentum in your life that allows you to live according to your own hopes and dreams, while simultaneously furthering you toward the life you were designed to live.
Through an open exploration of your life as it has unfolded over the years, Michele is able to identify repeating patterns of behavior and ineffective beliefs that have misinformed some of your choices. Once your ineffective beliefs and behaviors are identified, you are literally able to design new patterns, beliefs and choices that support the life you want to live. The only catch is that you truly must want these changes. If you desire happiness, Michele can assist you in finding the path there.
Michele is specially trained in relationship counseling and is proud of the success many same-sex couples have experienced with her gay relationship counseling and coaching. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Indiana (License # 34003162A) with various credentials including: ACRPS (Accredited Relapse Prevention Specialist); ABS ( Academy of Bereavement Professionals), ACSW (Accredited Clinical Social Worker), Member of the Harry Benjamin Association for gender issues, and Michele is also a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist.
