Description
PAQ Services, Inc. (PAQ) is America's home for the study of specific occupations. By providing field job analysis scoring services, managing the eDOT Skills Project, and maintaining the enhanced Dictionary of Occupational Titles (eDOT)
(a replacement for the abandoned US 1991 Revised Dictionary of Occupational Titles*), PAQ collects and analyzes data about real jobs (over a million field job analyses in the past 30 years). *The US Government, like most countries, has elected to only study and report on ~750 job families and no longer reports data on specific occupations. PAQ's eDOT is the only source of national, all-inclusive job specific data now available.
The majority of PAQ's business relates to the online scoring and analysis of PAQ Questionnaire measures to create useful work and labor economic reports. PAQ does not provide job analysis services, but rather trains subject matter expert subscriber employees in PAQ job analysis techniques and questionnaires through two-day job analysis seminars. As part of this training, PAQ sponsors a program that credentials trained Job and Compensation Analysts. This is the only national accreditation program of its kind for old-fashioned job analysis and is co-sponsored with the ERI Distance Learning Center, an online human resource education center.
