ABOUT PROCON
The PROCON Group is a distributor of sophisticated electronic industrial instrumentation. This equipment is used by the process industries for analysis, detection, measurement and control. PROCON was incorporated in December 1992 and formally began operations on June 1, 1993. The PROCON Group consists of two divisions: Procon Systems Inc., which serves customers in Western Canada; and Procon Measurement & Control Inc., which serves customers in Eastern Canada.
Twenty-one highly skilled, experienced, knowledgeable and motivated people are employed by PROCON: nine for direct sales; three for inside sales and application engineering; four for technical services; three for administrative support; one shipper/receiver; and the president. Of these, ten have been working together in the industrial instrumentation business for more than 17 years. The members of the PROCON Group have more than 200 years of combined experience in the sales, application, distribution, servicing, manufacturing, and operation of industrial instruments in both Canada and the United States.
The markets served by the PROCON Group include the following: agriculture; chemical and petrochemicals; consulting engineers; food and beverage; gas and liquid pipelines; manufacturing; mining; municipalities; oil and gas; oil refining; oil sands and heavy oil upgraders; panel shops; pharmaceuticals; pulp and paper; related original equipment manufacturer's; thermal and hydro power; warehousing; and water and waste treatment.
