Description

Excerpted from the website:

As a stay-home mom that has raised 4 sons, 1 still being under 18, 3 over 18 and now a 3 year old grandaughter, I've always been a bargain hunter and a coupon clipper. I got my first computer in Feburary of 1996, and had no idea what-so-ever what I was doing, I stumbled upon my first coupon site and my "hobby" spread to online shopping. I was surprised by all of the great deals I came across, products marked down 80%, coupon codes for $20 off $20 or more, etc. I started passing these deals along to my friends and family via conversation and email.

Community Review

Hello, this is the site designer of SavingBenjamin.com, Matt. I was told after completing this website for Laura that I would receive 50 US dollars. It took me about half a year to fully complete the site. However, the site has been completed for about a month and I still have not been paid for my service. She has cheated me out of my pay just so she could run her site on her own. Then, without returning my emails, she changes ALL the passwords on her site and bans me from her website. She then writes an email to me. The contents of the email is below:

I dont know what the deal is but I have filed a complaint against you with 1 and 1 because you are requesting my password. They will begin an investigation within the hour. Once they find your IP trying to login to my account I will receive a copy of the report and it will be forwarded to your local law inforcement agency and action will begin.

Do NOT access my forums nor site at any time.

This is your formal warning as needed for legal action.

This is the only warning you will receive anything further is criminal.

Do Not reply, that will be a harrasement charge if you do.

Laura

The only reason I "requested her password" is because she never informed me to stay out of her site. Until this point, I assumed I was still the webmaster of SavingBenjamin.com.
Now what kind of website can a person that cheats other people out of money for her own gain? Not to mention, ALL the links that she posts -- they're all for her benefit. If you buy anything using any of the links she provides you through her website, she gets a cut of the profit. She has no interest in the users of her website; all she wants is for you to click the links and spend money.
