Sonic Retro is the world's largest Sonic website, in terms of quality content, unique visitors, and dedicated fan community. Retro doesn't do furry fanart, roleplaying, bad sprite comics or anything like that—it's simply dedicated to rocking the best pre-1998 game series by Sonic Team. The site is home to popular fan projects such as Sonic the Hedgehog Megamix, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 HD, and a number of Sonic hacks, along with a ton of great collaborative work done by its many members. - IGN has a new article up by Yoshinari Amaike concerning the origins of Silver the Hedgehog–among the more interesting tidbits, there’s mentions of being a mink and originally being orange! Also of note: the earliest sketches show Silver being more “robotic” in nature.
