Synch-Point produces English language versions of anime and manga for North American distribution. Synch-Point's in-house translation and adaptation team takes special care in staying true to the original creators' intentions.
The name, Synch-Point, refers to a term that fan subtitlers use. It is a visual or audio cue that marks the 0:00:00 start on their time codes. It is our tribute to fandom, without which the anime industry would not have come this far. Synch-Point also refers to where two things come together. And in this case it is where Japanese and American cultures meet to produce anime for an American audience. Synch-Point is the production division of Anime Gamers USA, Inc.
Anime Gamers has three divisions - production, retail, and e-commerce. The first retail store opened in September 2001 in West Los Angeles, CA. The e-commerce site, AnimeGamers.com, was launched in February 2001.
