The Leaky Cauldron (TLC for short) is one of the original Potter powerhouse fansites. Even JK Rowling herself visits this world-famous and award-winning fansite. Started in 2001, TLC is the only surviving Harry Potter website from that time. It started as a sad, one-page list of news and has grown to over 200 pages of interactives, content, and information, plus large image galleries, bustling forums, and the legendy PotterCast. TLC is now run by Melissa Anelli, a New York freelance writer who joined the site in October 2001, 4 months after it opened.
