In 2003, an Edinburgh band known then as Unquiet came across Katie Murray whilst searching for a new vocalist. They stopped their search there and formed the Angel conversations. The Angel conversations bring together an assortment of musical influences that include punk, rock, indie, folk and even… jazz. This curious combination has resulted in a distinctive sound, mixing progressive and aggressive guitar with fragile vocals, menacing bass and hard, fat expressive drums.
