- About Steve
- Steve Tatham is more than just a smirking face. A writer and stand-up comedian, he is a staff writer at the Walt Disney Company and has been one for, thanks to inertia, nearly two decades. He has spent his career dreaming up new theme parks, attractions and interactive experiences for Walt Disney Imagineering and Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online. At Disney, he has written for such talent as Whoopi Goldberg, Nathan Lane, Joan Rivers, Jeremy Irons, Isabella Rossellini, Patrick Warburton (as Kronk and Buzz Lightyear), Dan Castellaneta (as the Genie), Jackie Zeman and mogul/TV host Michael Eisner. Tatham also created the syndicated Dreamworks’ game show, Majority Rules. But don’t get him wrong, he does not limit himself to working for “The Man,” having entertained in more than 100 comedy clubs and on over 100 radio shows across the country. He has also performed on A&E’s An Evening at the Improv, the Free Speech television show, and on E! Entertainment Television. His comedy writing has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Newsday and he also has the distinction of being a member of the “Fashion Police” for US Weekly. Tatham also authored the much acclaimed “1001: A Video Odyssey, a movie to watch for your every mood,” published by Lone Eagle Publishing. He has a Bachelors Degree in Film Design from UC Berkeley and a Masters in Architecture from UCLA. He lives in the Los Angeles area with his patient wife and two children, who have yet to figure out why their house is now a broadcast studio.
