About Us
The blogging revolution has taken everyone by surprise. Instead of relying on typical journalistic standards, where everyone gets the same news from every source, bloggers are taking the world by storm by following no rules, catering to no single media outlet, and putting hard-hitting opinions out on the web in real time for anyone and everyone to look at. What started as a simple journaling tool has grown into a major media obsession, and the rest of the world is taking note.
We started The Wrestling Blog in June of 2004 because we wanted to have someplace that was a little bit different than your normal wrestling site. We wanted a place for commentary and discussion that is mostly moderation-free and unfolds in real time. We got together a crack staff of some of the most intelligent cats you’re going to find in the wrestling community and we turned them loose with the readers following closely behind. We’ve talked Raw, we’ve bashed other sites, and we’ve speculated long and hard about whether or not wrestling is the stupidest pasttime on the planet.
And you know what we discovered? It might be brainless, but we love it. And so do you, as proven by the amount of people joining in the discussions.
