ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO, December 10, 2009—Unirac, Inc., North America’s leading manufacturer of solar photovoltaic (PV) racking solutions, has been selected by Gexpro Electrical Distribution to supply a ULA (Unirac Large Array) for one of the first solar initiatives in the Chicago area. The custom ground mount solution for a 949 kW installation will help power Lexington Pumping Station, which transports water originating in Lake Michigan throughout Illinois’ DuPage County.
