Description
Paul Weavers has been working in Historic Gardens for the past 20 years. Paul was until recently Head Gardener at Moor Place in Hertfordshire, where he was responsible for creating many new features within its 18th century garden over a 9 year period. Previously he was Foreman at Somerleyton Hall Gardens for 9 years, and holds a National Diploma in Horticulture.
Paul is well known for his talks and lectures over the years on gardens to clubs and societies, and on the radio. A full member of The Professional Gardeners Guild since 1988, he was involved in the Guild and RHS study tour to Tuscany, Italy in 1999. In 2003, Paul led the Guild’s biggest tour so far, to China, which has been well documented. As a result of the tour’s success, Paul has teamed up with Cultural Tours Ltd to enable such tours to operate worldwide.
Ivan Clarke is Weavers & Clark’s agronomy expert. A former horticultural adviser for MAFF, he holds a National Diploma in Horticulture from Writtle College. He has worked for rose nurseries and pleasure gardens, and as a vegetable farm manager.
