Newly arrived on a competitive market, the Caracal pistol is the first pistol made in the United Arab Emirates. A certificate was issued by the Federal German Armed Forces Testing House WTD 91 in Meppen, Germany in May 2006 after the pistol successfully complied with the NATO D14 standard, the Federal Police Standard and the Federal Armed Forces Technical Purchasing requirements. These tests are the most stringent test protocols ever devised for a service firearm.

Il a passé avec succès la certification du Centre d'Essais des forces armées fédérales de Meppen en Allemagne en Mai 2006 en ce qui concerne les normes OTAN D14, les exigences techniques de la Police Fédérale et de la Bundeswehr.
