Mass High Tech: The Journal of New England Technology is a weekly publication covering business news of the New England high tech industry. In 1996, MHT was purchased by American City Business Journals, the United States’ largest publisher of metropolitan weekly business and technology newspapers, with more than 40 publications nationwide. In addition, ACBJ is the leading publisher of local business news and information on the World Wide Web at www.BizJournals.com.

Since 1997, the number of MHT subscribers has grown from 5,000 to 18,000, making MHT the largest regional technology publication in the country. It has also garnered its share of awards. The New England Press Association awarded the paper first place overall design in the weekly two category in its 2007 annual Better Newspaper Contest. Boston-based Ember Corp., a ZigBee networking company, has closed an additional $12 million in third-round funding from its primary venture capital investors and strategic partners.

Clinical Data Inc. reports it has sold about 1 million shares of newly issued common stock, and warrants to purchase 519,889 shares of common stock, for a total of $17 million.

Raytheon Co. of Waltham has won a $10.5 million contract from the German company COMLOG to test and deliver an upgrade kit for Patriot missile facility test equipment.
