- 1001Software was founded in November 1996 by a creative team of software developers in Odessa, Ukraine (Eastern Europe). In 1997 we began to work as an offshore, outsourcing development team for North American, Asian and European customers. In early 2003 we relocated our head office to Toronto to bring us closer to our North American customers. We continue to maintain our offices in Ukraine where the majority of our developers reside. We are a rather young company in Canada, but we already have over five years of successful professional experience in offshore software development. We are continuously striving to improve the quality and value of our products and to cultivate our professional approach to software development. The use of comprehensive coding standards, user interface conventions and the creation of good technical documentation, guarantee easy maintenance and future modification of our products.
- The core of our company consists of two departments: the software development department and the web development department. Each one of our eighteen software engineers holds post-graduate degrees in Applied Mathematics or Computer Science. They have professional experience in the IT industry and continual exposure maintains their familiarity with the latest technologies. 1001Software has also designed our own specialist selection system that allows us to maintain relationships with nearly forty freelance IT experts and to expand our staff at a moment’s notice to meet any customer needs.
