- Yoga as a tool to support the entire person physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually has been the catalyst for Lee’s journey to becoming a yogini and a yoga instructor. The majority of her training has been in Los Angeles, California under the guidance of Atmananda Dasa, founder of atma yoga. As a certified atma yoga instructor, she has been trained to teach several different forms of hatha yoga including slow deep stretch which is a yin yoga, and kundalini/shakti yoga and power yoga. She began teaching at Yoga Mandir in Culver City, California shortly after completing her teacher training in 2002. In 2004, she was invited to Detroit to open a yoga studio at a spiritual center where she lived in an ashram and deepened her bhakti yoga practice.
